Feng Li is a computer vision engineer at the Camera & Photo group of Apple. He received his Ph.D. in Fall 2011 from the University of Delaware, and then worked at the Computer Vision group of Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) as an Adjunct Member Research Staff on tumor/lung motion modeling for Mitsubishi proton radiation systems. He joined the Camera System Group of Qualcomm in June 2013, working on algorithm designs for Snapdragon ISP pipeline processing. In Dec 2014, he started working at Light on multi-view depth estimation, shallow depth-of-field rendering, image matting, and depth related image editing in the computational imaging (CI) team, and he and the CI team delivered the core computational imaging software for L16 and Nokia 9 PureView.
